ATFT

Agitated Thin Film Dryer (ATFD) is a type of thin film dryer used for drying liquids or solutions in a continuous process. In an ATFD, the feed liquid is pumped into a heated, rotating drum or cylinder, which is partially filled with a thin film of the liquid. The drum is agitated, causing the liquid to spread out into a thin film and the moisture to be evaporated from the liquid by heat transfer through the drum's surface. The evaporated moisture is then removed by a vacuum system, which maintains the low pressure in the drum and enhances the drying process. The ATFD has several advantages, including high heat transfer rates, efficient use of energy, and minimal degradation of heat-sensitive products. It is commonly used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries for drying heat-sensitive products, such as biochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food additives. Additionally, ATFDs are often used for continuous processing of large volumes of liquids, making it an efficient and cost-effective drying solution.

We offer Ultra filtration Plants that are reusable and cleanable with standard chemicals and are designed using advanced process technology with the purpose of removing micro bacterial counts. These Ultra filtration Control Systems act as advanced Industrial Filtration System and find application as pre treatment step to the next in step reverse osmosis process.

Advantages

1. High Heat Transfer Rates: ATFDs have high heat transfer rates due to the thin film of liquid being spread out over the heated surface of the drum. This leads to faster and more efficient drying compared to other types of dryers.

2. Continuous Processing: ATFDs can be operated continuously, which allows for large volumes of liquid/solution to be processed efficiently and effectively

3. Minimal Product Degradation: The gentle and efficient drying process of ATFDs minimizes product degradation, making it a suitable dryer for heat-sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals, biochemicals, and food additives.

4. Energy Efficient: ATFDs require minimal energy input to operate, making them an energy-efficient option for liquid/solution drying. Easy to Clean: ATFDs are easy to clean due to their simple design and construction, making them ideal for industries with stringent hygiene requirements
